Open Period - Any exhibitor restocking is to be done in the morning prior to show open. Once the show is open each day there is a strict no trolleys policy so any deliveries must be hand carried to your stand. There is also no vehicle access once the show is open as all vehicle doors and exits must be kept clear.

Breakdown - Will commence once ALL delegates have vacated the hall. Small vehicles will have priority to access the rear of the hall via the Gates once the show has closed. Larger vehicles will be queued on the designated area at the back of the hall. All vehicles will be sent to the loading bays at the side of the building once space becomes available.

The following points must be adhered to during build up / breakdown:

-
All corridors and Fire Exits are left clear to ensure access is maintained at all times.
-
Appropriate footwear must be worn – open toes shoes are not permitted during build-up or break-down.
-

DISABLED FACILITIES

Exhibitors participating at Factories of the Future Expo are required to meet their legal responsibilities under the Equality Act 2012 (replacing the former DDA – Disability Discrimination Act 1995).

There are about 10m disabled people in the UK. Many of their disabilities are hidden – for example epilepsy, diabetes and mental ill health - so it is best to plan to meet the needs of a broad community.

Access for disabled people is not only about physical access to buildings for wheelchair users but also includes access to written information for people with visual impairments and access to the same standard of service for all. It is important to take account of health and safety legislation, which has primacy over the disability regulations. For more information and industry best practice guidelines visit http://www.aeo.org.uk/files/eguide.pdf

The venue have a small number of self-propelled wheelchairs available for occasional use by less able visitors to the venue. We can’t guarantee availability so please make arrangements in advance with m.smith@gbmediaevents.com.
